The pattern is made from sashiko dyed with indigo kazame, with the pattern removed using a discharge dyeing method, and then color added.

無地は、日本の伝統的な織物である「刺し子」をインディゴ染めした素材。

経糸は黒に染めており、経年変化することで、インディゴとブラックのグラデーションが楽しめる。

柄は、藍の枷染めで染めた刺し子に、抜染で柄を抜き、その後に色を乗せた拘りの生地。
