This piece is based on the WWII-era “Battle Model” denim jacket, originally produced during a time of material shortages. While preserving the rugged details and rough stitching that were born out of necessity back then, unnecessary modern exaggerations have been avoided to enhance the product’s authenticity and value as a contemporary garment. The newly developed 14oz Cameroonian cotton denim offers a comfortable stretch, excellent wearability, and outstanding durability. It features period-appropriate details such as laurel steel buttons, unbranded copper rivets, and a buckle with a fleur-de-lis emblem. The jacket has a boxy silhouette, and sizes larger than 40 include a back yoke for improved fit and structure.
