BULL DOG SHIRT
We would like to introduce a new shirt released this fall.
This shirt, named “Bull Dog”, is named after the B.D. (Button Down) Shirt.
This shirt was created with a different concept than the traditional B.D. SHIRT.

The collars of button-downs from that time to the present are called “full rolls.
The collar is defined by its unique large rolled curve, and is designed to be worn with a necktie.
It is considered beautiful when a large knot sits just right with a loosely tied necktie.
In today’s daily wear fashion, ties are often not worn at F.O.B FACTORY, so we decided to create a new shirt that can be worn in a variety of ways and can be enjoyed without being restricted to IVY.
We have finally completed a collar that is different from previous B.D SHIRTs, and looks sharp around the neck without a thin necktie, and looks good when the front buttons are open or closed.
Of course, we were also concerned about points other than the collar.
First of all, we avoided a too casual shirt fabric.
We used a high-density royal oxford fabric with a 40/- warp and 16/- weft yarn to create an elegant fabric that is not too casual.
Next, we asked a factory in Osaka that specializes in tailoring to sew this shirt, and the result is different from F.O.B FACTORY’s previous casual shirts.
We aimed to create a slim silhouette that is also comfortable to wear.
Also, the careful sewing of MADE IN JAPAN gives you an outstanding sense of security.
Natural shell buttons are also used for the buttons, enhancing the sense of luxury.

今回は新たに今秋リリースされたシャツの御紹介します。
”BULL DOG”と名付けられたこのシャツはB.D（ボタンダウン）SHIRTを文字って名付けています。
このシャツは従来のB.D SHIRTとは違う構想で製作に入りました。

その当時から現在までのボタンダウンの衿はフルロールと呼ばれる、
独特の大きくロールするカーブを持った衿が定義でありネクタイをする事が前提で作られた衿の形状をしています。
緩めにしめたネクタイに大きめの結び目が丁度よく収まることが美しいとされています。
現在のデイリーウエアのファッションの中でF.O.B FACTORYではネクタイをしない事の方が多く、IVYにとらわれた着方ではなく着方を選ばず色々な着こなしが楽しめるシャツを新たに製作しようと考えました。
衿1つで新しくも見え、古臭くも感じる事もあり何度もトワールを組んではやり直しで、ようやく今までのB.D SHIRTとは違う細くネクタイをしなくとも首元がシャープに映りフロントのボタンを開けたときも、閉じたときも様になる衿が完成致しました。
もちろん衿以外の点にも拘りました。
まずシャツ生地の方ですがこちらは、あえてカジュアル過ぎる方向は避けました。
経糸40/-緯糸16/-の高密度のロイヤルオックスで上品な方向で、カジュアル過ぎない生地を製作致しました。
次に縫製ですが、こちらは大阪にあるテーラーの得意な工場にお願いし、今までのF.O.B FACTORYのカジュアルシャツとは違った雰囲気に仕上がりました。
細身のシルエットに見えながら、着心地も守られることをめざしました。
また縫製もMADE IN JAPANの丁寧な縫製で抜群の安心感です。
ボタンにも天然の貝ボタンを使用し、高級感を高めています。
